This beautiful single-family house housed in the 18th century three families, a caravan and a bakery. The house, which was on the market by the estate agency Fantastic Frank, today has been transformed into a dwelling with several patios, several fireplaces, modern floor plan with well-preserved original details perfectly matched with focus on both interior details, function and lots of love! The house bears memories as far back as the 18th century, and here you can safely say that the house has been allowed to age with retained beauty, and taken care of in the best way, right? Tribeca has been a NYC hot spot for well over a decade and is home to one of the city’s most sought-after zip codes. Thanks to its large stock of lofts and historic architecture, the trendy ‘hood is chock full of drool-worthy real estate, and this classic loft is no exception. The home was renovated in 2018 by the design team at Studio DB, who set out to make the space both beautiful and functional for the homeowners’ family. Shed are interior designers and architects who’ve been designing and delivering environments for some of the world leading companies since 2000. They are straight talking, smart thinking creatives who work across retail, leisure, workplace and exhibition markets, specialising in branded interior design. Shed have designed, developed and managed highly successful projects in over 30 countries. Although their projects are mostly commercial I personally admire their work so I thought we should see a small sample of it.. Located in South London’s Gipsy Hill, the brief from The Capital Pub Company was to “Create a Home Away from Home”. It’s namesake, local architect Joseph Paxton, influenced the interior – a traditional palette with Victorian pattern painted at large scale across the floor, is brought into the 21st Century with an eclectic mix of reclaimed furniture. Enjoy it!!!!

One of Vasastan’s oldest neighborhoods hides a pompous turn of the century with qualities beyond the ordinary. Located in a classic 19th-century house, this tiny home of just 22 Sq m by Alvhem, offers rich decoration in the form of wide stucco, high footprints, smart solutions and breathtakingly large roof rosettes. Two high windows offer plenty of light. With an obvious balance between the impressive aesthetics of the 19th century and today’s demands for function, this small flat has something a little extra. It offers 3.4 meters in ceiling height, sleeping loft of about 7 sqm, a nicely renovated kitchen, a fully tiled bathroom, large windows, fantastic stucco and roof rosette. Enjoy it!!!!
Our experience leads us to believe that the compact living is a global trend that in the feature will become stronger. More and more people choose to live in the big megalopolis and to make the small studio and micro apartments their home. And in the future, this tendency will increase the number of people and it will decrease inhabitable space so that the dwellings will become smaller and smaller. Therefore, you must use your imagination and creativity and to search for unconventional solutions so as to create a wholly functional and welcoming home in such a restricted space arrangement. It’s important , as well, to add personality to keep the living area from feeling too stark. In this apartment, designed by Nest Design Group, pops of color make for eclectic living space that offers utility and style in a small package.
The Little House by mwworks studio is nestled into a lush second growth forest on a north facing bluff overlooking Hood Canal in Seabeck, WA . Built over an existing foundation, the new building is just over 400 square feet. Early design discussions focused on creating a compact, modern structure that was both simple and efficient. Visitors approach the site from the south, a thin canopy marks the entry and frames views of the canal below. The more transparent north and west elevations pull the landscape and distant view into the space. Taut oxidized black cedar and blackened cement infill panels clad the exterior while lightly painted panels and soft pine plywood warm and brighten the interior. On a sunny western corner of the house a large patio reaches out into the landscape and serves as a jumping off point to the trail system wandering down to the water’s edge.…
Interiors and exteriors in that challenging project provide just about everything for a comfortable everyday life, while also alleviating the crisis we found ourselves in. The location can be anywhere in the world, and the project is a place to escape, the so-called Stay at home house – explains very simply Sarajevo architect Armin Mesic of Fo4a Architecture studio. Inspired by the current situation we are in, engulfed in a global pandemic that we can fight simply by staying isolated inside our homes, the architect came up with the idea of a home that is a perfect haven and provides us with everything to ease this period. INSPIRATION : In addition to the current situation, the architect reveals to us that the inspiration for the project came in part from one scene of the popular 2015 American drama “The Revenant” with Leonard DiCaprio in the leading role. This prestigious residence, the second project presented here by designer Carola Vannini, is nestled within a unique urban and artistic architectural mosaic. The renovation takes into consideration this unique nuance and emphasizes it through the contrast with new architectural choices. The double height living room has multiple views towards terraces and it is highlighted by a scenographic stairway that stands out through new LED light and old fresco. The outstanding furniture and well-studied lighting design create a refined harmony with the existing ancient building. The fountain built in the lower terrace has a natural stone veneering and evocative light behind it that brings about the piece’s importance. An office space and luxurious bathroom are located on the downstairs floor.Moving up to the second level, a walkway that overlooks the living space and faces both terraces, crosses into the night area. All furniture is designed by the architect and is custom made. The two bathrooms are…

A striking 18th-century Palace located in the charming Palma de Mallorca old town, next to the sea, where the most important historical transactions took place back in time. The neighbourhood was frequented by sailors and merchants who came from all over the Mediterranean Sea. It is the most singular palace of the neighbourhood, and its design and style are what make Palacio Can Marques a truly classical Majorcan mansion. Between history and modernity, heritage and comfort, the hotel offers a unique change of scenery, a dive into the culture, art and typically Majorcan way of doing things.Feel the soul of this extraordinary Palacio !!!!!
