La Casetta is located in the splendid town of Spello, which boasts ancient origins and, thanks to its enchanting beauty, it is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The cottage is accessed from inside the town walls along a peaceful alley that leads to the old town centre. The owner Andrea has renovated this delightful house into an elegant retreat: modern, airy and cheerful.
Open the door from the street and a stylish, white-painted stone entrance lobby with sets the scene. One’s eye is drawn along a stone path and raised flowerbeds to the spacious private garden on your left; ahead is the cane-covered outdoor seating area adjacent to the kitchen-living room. Umbria has an excellent climate where being outside, dining or resting and reading is one of our greatest holiday pleasures, especially after long days exploring the region. Andrea has planted the garden to allow plenty of space to sunbathe or to recline on a shady day-bed piled with soft pillows.
