Indie & Co.‘s client, who had recently purchased this gorgeous Victorian property, decided to reconfigure the building into one rental flat, a home home office/ guest flat and a maisonette for herself. Working alongside her architectural team, designers were commissioned to design the scheme and specify the furniture, fixtures and fittings in a way that would tie all the areas of this unique layout together.

Using a beautiful grey terrazzo in the kitchen and bathrooms gives continuity, as well as the beautiful golden oak that acts as a consistent theme through the space, coupled with accents of brass and copper to bring a sense of warmth and luxury. They selected a soft blue for the walls which serves as the backdrop to a unique wall sculpture inspired by nearby Hampstead Heath by Kaori Tatebayashi. The soft shades combined with the grain of natural timber exudes a serene calm, while carefully crafted details add personality and a feeling of sophistication.
