I bet most of us have seen that photo in social media. Mrizi i Zanave is a hotel and restaurant set on a countryside in Albania. Located in the village of Fishte, in the region of Zadrima, Mrizi i Zanave (fairy tale) certainly lives up to its name. The area was the birthplace of Gjergi Fishta, one of Albania’s great poets and Zadrima is famous for its handwoven, colourful, and ornate textiles. . There is this beautiful building that has a glass window between the broken stone wall. It also features a warm and cozy wooden interior designed by Plisatelier. Transferring old stone building into modern housing has become popular recently in Europe and East Asia since stone structure often lasts for centuries. A renovation can bring those histories and memories back to life. Take a ride!!!!
The three-storey, 17th-century skinny house in Antwerp, Belgium, is 2.4 metres wide on its smallest facade. It was bought by a couple who stumbled across the property while visiting the old city centre. It was designed by Belgian architecture firm DMVA as a cross between a holiday home for its owners and a tiny ,luxury hotel with just one double bedroom and internal spaces connected by a “promenade” of staircases. The “one room” hotel isn’t one room, exactly. An open-tread staircase leads from one floor to the next, each of which has its own function. The basement is the kitchen, the first floor is the lounge, the second floor contains the bathroom, and the third floor is where the main bedroom and sauna are located. Sailor Sarah Andrews found and restored this cottage in Lettes Bay on Tasmania’s West Coast. Overlooking the water it’s a perfect serene hideaway filled with cozy corners and vintage objects. A traditional Tasmanian coastal ‘shack’ has been transformed into a soulful, storied waterfront retreat, perfect for cocooning couples or solo escapees. An extraordinary attention to detail is matched by an exquisite, painterly, and fabulously restorative setting on the wild west coast. The cottage is mainly wood from the inside which immediately gives a warm atmosphere and it’s decorated in neutral tones with the occasional green and mustard color touch. It’s a simple cottage but because it’s decorated so lovely it’s looks like the perfect place to unwind from daily life And the good news is that you can as well, rent it through the airbnb platform here!!!!

Privately situated on a sloping hill in the Tuscan countryside, Casa Morelli is an attractive holiday home with an authentic character. Originally built in the 15th century in a classic Tuscan style, it was recently renovated by the most passionate craftsmen, integrating perfectly a modern and minimalist design into the traditional structure.Don’t expect a trendy interior but a sustainable style with a courageous design characterized by robust handmade wooden furniture, local ceramics, and selected decorations and paintings that together form a harmonious whole. Everything is designed to add coziness and immerse guests in the atmosphere of the time when in the evenings only candles and the setting sun lit the house. But still, the main character in any Tuscan house is the view from the windows. Cypress trees and hills buried in the vineyards – just a fairy tale!

Cal Reiet is an incredibly elegant hotel in Mallorca, where the owners managed to keep the cozy atmosphere of an old country estate. A majestic 1881 mansion was redesigned – respecting the architecture’s historical heritage – into a boutique hotel with a main house, two guest houses, a pool house, a seminar house and a yoga hut. Not one room is the same as the original furniture has been carefully renovated and special pieces were made-to-measure on the island to guarantee an authentic experience. The new design inspires elegance, evokes tradition and nostalgia from its luxurious past. The atmosphere of culture, art and conviviality with which these rooms were once filled come alive again. The building was built in 1881, but more recently, designers of Bloomint studio created an oasis of comfort and an excellent example of careful preservation of historic architecture. The hotel’s motto is very accurate: “Cal Reiet is a…
