A young and modern couple had a dream in common: a country house that welcomed the lived stories, the references of the years of living in Barcelona, ​​the paths of a debutante São Paulo registered by her grandfather, the family relics. The studio sought to harmonize the contrasts proposed by the couple’s history, between past and contemporary, between city and countryside. It resulted in an unusual mixture of graffiti inspired by the 19th century puppet theater, rustic furniture, carefully designed to match the dishes inherited from her grandmother, narratives of life that integrate with the environments that flow in a fluid way and connected to a dedicated curatorship that includes renowned artists and designers.


Melina Romano Studio is a Design studio, based in São Paulo, that researches and develops Residential, Corporate and Hotel projects. Since 2007 they seek to interpret and represent. EMPATHY, the first tool that gives them the perspective of the other’s place, from where they start in search of INNOVATION to go further. Their trajectory gives them the TECHNIQUE, necessary to understand, plan and execute special projects that provide a unique and true EXPERIENCE.
