Regan Baker leads Regan Baker Design with 17 years of experience in Interior Architecture and Design. She firmly believes that design should be comfortable, modern, and personal, and she strives to bring these aspects to every project she works on. Her clients found this home on an episode of HGTV’s “House Hunters,” after deciding to relocate from San Francisco to the city of Mountain View, 40 miles south. They saw potential in the unassuming, builder-grade ranch and asked Regan to help them turn it into a modern dream home for their family of four. So she revamped the floor plan to add functionality and introduced updated finishes throughout, letting the colors, textures, and patterns of the California coast guide their material choices—from the slatted redwood paneling on the home’s exterior to the watery blues in the living room rug. Cal Reiet is an incredibly elegant hotel in Mallorca, where the owners managed to keep the cozy atmosphere of an old country estate. A majestic 1881 mansion was redesigned – respecting the architecture’s historical heritage – into a boutique hotel with a main house, two guest houses, a pool house, a seminar house and a yoga hut. Not one room is the same as the original furniture has been carefully renovated and special pieces were made-to-measure on the island to guarantee an authentic experience. The new design inspires elegance, evokes tradition and nostalgia from its luxurious past. The atmosphere of culture, art and conviviality with which these rooms were once filled come alive again. The building was built in 1881, but more recently, designers of Bloomint studio created an oasis of comfort and an excellent example of careful preservation of historic architecture. The hotel’s motto is very accurate: “Cal Reiet is a…
Underneath the rooftops of Gamla Råsunda, right next to the solar park, is a home that is unlike anything else, a completely unique attic with a special atmosphere. Only a couple of years ago it was a poorly treated residence encased in Masonite, woven wallpaper and plastic mats, but under all layers the Art Nouveau soul remained. It has now been picked up and dressed in a new, lovely scrap. At the top of the house there is also a fantastic feeling of freedom with a view, airy ceiling height and light that falls straight down from the sky and into the skylights. The feeling inspired the current owners to color and decor and the result has become a completely delightful home, thoroughly renovated, restored to more original condition and added with thoughtful updates. Here you also move into a nice association with good economy and a cozy courtyard. The apartment is small (only 58…
Estudio Morgan designed every corner of this penthouse creating the ideal corner for its owner. They managed to create not only a very stylish design with a view of the rooftops of Madrid, but also to fill a minimalistic space with warmth and coziness. A large living tree in a pot in the living room catches the eye at first s. The theme of greenery continues on the beautiful terrace, which can be accessed through the sliding glass windows from the living room. The open fireplace adds warmth and elegance in the space. Rough concrete and black finishes are softened here with pleasant beige shades in textiles and furniture. A brilliant example of cozy modern housing! It is a very beautiful building that meets in the rolling countryside of the countryside. The mission house in Österåker outside Vingåker has been transformed into a large and lovely home after over a hundred years in the service of the church. With about 300 square meters to move and with about 8 meters in height in a fantastic church hall, this is a home beyond the ordinary. This is the home for those who like to spend time in large groups and / or have a large family. Maybe you run an artistic activity or have a horse – the property includes a stable with four box seats. In fact, the concept of photography is that of a band after a long night of recording. In addition, there is a large mature garden with a lovely species-specific orchard. The home preserves many details of the time as a church, including a large site-built funk kitchen. There are…
a3company has been engaged in interior design since 2006. During the existence of the studio, they managed to implement many projects of varying complexity, as well as assemble a team of professionals with specialized art and architectural education (Moscow State Pedagogical University named after Stroganov, Moscow Architectural Institute, Details School). The peculiarity of their projects is not only a stylish, up-to-date design that meets global trends, but also the liquidity of finished objects in the real estate market. Based on their customers’ wishes, they find the best ways to solve any problem, which earned them a good reputation. Concerning the Stalinist house presented here, they supported the spirit of that time. They decided not to change the flooring, but to restore it. The same thing happened with interior doors: from under the many layers of white paint with which they were coated, relief and shapes appeared in their pristine beauty. The kitchen was…

The new design of this old building is inspired by the neighborhood’s history. Outside, the labyrinth–like streets from the Born district experience contrast between the buildings’ shadows and Barcelona’s bright sun light. Inside the flat the same contrast has been applied to materials, lights and colors. Each atmosphere transformation is based on its purpose. The perfect match between old and new, darkness and light, colors and white. Functional furniture and intelligent built-in storage was custom – made to contrast with the uncovered old bricks, stonewalls and ancient wooden doors. “The team at Bloomint Design did a great job of planning and executing a renovation that combines innovative design with respect for the history and essential character of an old city apartment. They were ‘hands-on’ enough to make things easy for us, being relatively unfamiliar with the city and the design process itself, but respectful enough of our creative input that we feel the…
From this apartment the view is miles away in two winds and the sunsets are freely viewed to the west. Here you live unobstructed at a height and with views of the entire old Aspudden from all windows and from the balcony. The apartment is very bright and has sun in through some window during basically the whole day. In addition, this is a very well planned residence in a sober color scale and a very nice condition – renovated in recent years. Here is a cozy and stylish kitchen in access with a bright and nice living room which also has a balcony. In addition, two good and spacious bedrooms, good storage areas and a bathroom with bathtub. The residence is in a secluded and quiet location on a return street and at the same time only five minutes from the subway and the cozy center of Aspuden. The house was on the market by…
With three children under the age of 5, this family were starting to feel the confines of their Pacific Heights home when the expansive 1902 Italianate across the street went on the market. After learning the home had been recently remodeled, they jumped at the chance to purchase a move-in ready property. The Regan Baker Design studio worked with them to infuse the already refined, elegant living areas with subtle edginess and handcrafted details, and also helped them reimagine unused space to delight their little ones. Throughout the main floor, handcrafted, textured notes are everywhere—a nubby jute rug underlies inviting sofas in the family room and a half-moon mirror in the living room mixes geometric lines with flax-colored fringe. On the home’s lower level, the designers repurposed an unused wine cellar into a well-stocked craft room, with a custom chalkboard, art-display area, and thoughtful storage. In the adjoining space, they…
