This studio apartment, just 31 sq M, came on the market in Gothenburg through Stadshem. The small home is painted in a lovely sand tone and combined with white and black tones plus some lovely artwork hanging on the walls. To create a separate sleeping area they used the loft space under which is a large closet to keep the small space nice and tidy. This is such a tiny studio space, but still it looks relatively spacious and I think one person could live comfortably here because of the smart layout. The thing that the bed is placed on top of the bathroom already saves a lot of space and there is a decent amount of empty space around the furniture as well, which doesn’t make this studio look cramped. Set on the ridge of Middle Lypiatt, in the Cotswolds, an old Grange and barn converted to a private residence with views across the Bisley Valley. A crisp and contemporary feel is achieved while using traditional elements such as exposed beams, dry stone walling and cotswold stone in the construction. As a barn footprint allows, the house had lovely long spaces which is unusual for the cotswolds and the new renovation has created an influx of light into the rooms.Justin Van Breda was asked to decorate this house for a young family and the brief was to use a lot of navy, pops of colour, incorporate indigenous Australian art, and to keep it light and fun. Essense of character, cozy and homely! In this turn -of the – century apartment by Historiska hem, there really is a special atmosphere. Here you live in a quiet courtyard wing with 3.1 meters in ceiling height and high windows with deep niches that together provide space and airiness. Charming old wooden floors are combined with walls painted in natural tones. The apartment has a studio feel while also having clearly divided rooms. It is technically one space, but as part of the interior, the bedroom has been separated with an industrial glass wall to create the idea of separate rooms without making the already small room even smaller.The black metal grid frame supports the glass windows and creates walls without cutting off the view and the light coming from the rest of the apartment. This modern farmhouse located outside of Spokane, Washington, by Uptic Studios, creates a prominent focal point among the landscape of rolling plains. The composition of the home is dominated by three steep gable rooflines linked together by a central spine. This unique design evokes a sense of expansion and contraction from one space to the next. Vertical cedar siding, poured concrete, and zinc gray metal elements clad the modern farmhouse, which, combined with a shop that has the aesthetic of a weathered barn, creates a sense of modernity that remains rooted to the surrounding environment.
