Villa Mongibello is a wonderful modern house with a family history in San Pellegrino, Umbria. Mongibello means ‘beautiful hill’ which, given its verdant setting on the edge of an oak forest, is perfectly apt. The nearest village, San Pellegrino, is only a few minutes’ drive away and numerous Umbrian highlights are within easy reach of the property. In 2016 the owners finished the building of this unique villa, which was once the land of their grandparents.

The house is set among pristine hills on the edge of an oak forest. In renovating the house, the owners managed to create a powerful space which combines nature, peace, modern design and creativity. Thanks to the talent of architect Pia Karin Spreafico the ancient stones of the former farmhouse were used to create  an external shell within which a new structure in concrete was created. The hand of the Italian/Scandinavian architect is clearly evident from the minimalist décor and neutral colours; a stylish interior that promotes a sense of calm and serenity.    You can book Villa Mongibello here !!!!
